Bayan Passion Fruit Liqueur
Bayan Passion Fruit Liqueur is a tribute to Taiwan’s terroir and culture. The brand name Bayan “百陽”, literally means hundred suns and that’s what it meant to capture, a tropical taste of sunshine in every bottle.
The decorative flower above the Bayan name is a stylized representation of a passion fruit flower, depicted with a geometric and symmetrical design. It has also a clear resemblance to the sun on the taiwanese flag with the same number of 12 rays / petals.

Origin of passion fruit : Nantou (Puli)
Taiwan has some of the most amazing tropical fruits, this is due to the subtropical climate and a rich volcanic soil.The local fruit production is considered of high quality.Bayan takes advantage of this unique terroir and sources all of our passion fruits locally. Most of the passion fruit is harvested near Puli city in Nantou area, central Taiwan.
In Puli, area of high altitude, large temperature difference between day and night, and the well-drained red, slightly acidic soil is very suitable for the growth of passion fruit.
Taiwan Magao
To the hundred scents of the Passion Fruit, we matched one more: Magao. Magao, or mountain pepper, is a unique, aromatic berry found only in the high-altitude regions of Taiwan. With a bright, citrusy aroma similar to lemongrass and a hint of peppery warmth, it adds a complex layer to Bayan that perfectly complements the tropical sweetness of passion fruit.
For centuries, Taiwan’s indigenous Atayal and Bununtribes have cherished Magao, using it in both their cuisine and traditional medicine. Believed to aid digestion and offer anti-inflammatory benefits, Magaorepresents a natural wellness connection that aligns with Bayan’s commitment to quality, natural ingredients.
